Full Name: Ken Sund Activity Title: Surf play L3 Date of Activity: 4/19/2024 Narrative: Take advantage of small swell and mostly favorable conditions to work on your comfort, skill and self rescue techniques in ocean waves. Tide will start ebbing after 10:30 AM. We will assess where to collectively work on skills. Paddlers should be comfortable swimming with their boats in dynamic water and self rescue techniques. wear a drysuit that doesn't leak too much. We will assess our conditions and after playing awhile in surf then decide if we want to go beyond the surf break. Paddlers who have taken Bill Vonnegut's surf classes and have experience in surf or surfing should be fine with this practice. This is not a class. If another TO wants to help me with this, we can expand the quantity of paddlers. Let me know soon. Don't automatically sign up only to bail out just before the date.
